Terms of Use

Effective October 23, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Hasmik Vardanyan, Armenia ("we", "us"), the publisher of the RawLight app ("RawLight", "the app"). By downloading or using the app you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. The app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use RawLight on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or try to get around its limits, credit system or security, except where the law allows it.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, videos and other content you edit ("your content"), and to what you create with the app, including AI results, as far as the law allows. You allow us to process your content only to provide the features you use, for example to send a photo to an AI model when you run an AI tool. You confirm that you have the rights needed for the content you use.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use RawLight, and in particular its AI tools, to create or edit content that:

• is illegal, or infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• sexualises minors in any way;
• shows a real person in a sexual, intimate or degrading way without their consent, or is meant to harass, threaten, defame or impersonate someone;
• is meant to deceive, such as fake documents or misleading images of real people or events presented as genuine.

Also don't overload, attack or scrape our servers, or use scripts or modified apps to access them. We may refuse or block requests that break these rules.

4. AI tools

AI tools are processed by third-party AI models through our server. Results are generated automatically, can be inaccurate or unexpected, and may differ each time you run a tool. You decide whether to keep and how to use a result, and you are responsible for that use. AI tools need an internet connection and may change, be limited or be removed over time.

5. RawLight Pro

RawLight Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly, that unlocks Pro features (such as RAW developing, Pro looks and LUTs, AI tools, carousels with more than two pages, more collage layouts and watermark-free exports) and includes monthly AI credits. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of a free trial.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• A free trial, if offered, is for first-time subscribers. If you buy a subscription during a trial, the unused part of the trial ends.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. We can't issue refunds ourselves; you can ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. AI credits

• Running an AI tool uses credits; the cost of each tool is shown in the app before you run it. AI tools require an active RawLight Pro subscription.
• RawLight Pro includes a monthly credit allowance (a smaller one during a free trial). Monthly credits are renewed each month, don't carry over to the next month, and end when Pro ends.
• Credits you buy in packs, and any free welcome credits, don't expire and stay on your balance; you can use them while Pro is active. Monthly credits are used before bought credits.
• If a run fails, is cancelled or times out, its credits are returned automatically.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or transferred to other people, and are tied to your app installation and purchases. Restoring purchases on a new installation moves bought credits with them.
• We may change the credits a tool costs or the monthly allowance for future periods; changes don't affect runs already completed.

7. Free features and changes

We may add, change or remove features, including which features are free or Pro, to improve the app. If we remove a Pro feature you paid for in a way that materially reduces what Pro offers, you can cancel your subscription as described above.

8. Third-party services

The app relies on services from Apple, Cloudflare, Replicate and RevenueCat (see the Privacy Policy). Their availability is outside our control.

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, or that AI results will meet your expectations. Keep backups of photos that matter to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or content, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for RawLight in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

11. Ending these Terms

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; cancel any subscription separately in your App Store settings. We may suspend access to our servers (for example AI tools) if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. Sections 2, 9, 10 and 13 continue after these Terms end.

12. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, or claims that it infringes someone else's intellectual property; we are responsible for handling those, as required by these Terms. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes go to the courts of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring claims in its courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply.
